Coffee with my love is one of my favorite morning rituals.
I love a good cup of black coffee, but adding a little butter and some collagen powder has so many health benefits. The combination of caffeine, protein, and healthy fats gives mental clarity, a boost of energy, and can keep you satiated through the morning. (I like to drink it first thing in the morning and have breakfast 2-3 hours later.) And it tastes really good!
Morning Mocha
- 6-8 oz. hot brewed coffee
- 1 tsp grass-fed butter
- 1 scoop Primal Kitchen Vanilla Collagen Powder
- 1 scoop Vital Proteins Chocolate Collagen Powder
Directions:
- Add all of the ingredients to a high powered blender.
- Blend on medium speed for 30-60 seconds.
- Pour into a warm mug and enjoy.
