I absolutely love avocados. Guacamole, popsicles, smoothies, crema, diced on salads or tacos. . .Is there anything an avocado can’t do? Not to mention all the healthy fats, vitamins, fiber, anti-inflammatory properties, minerals, and potassium.
Avocados are pretty much my favorite. And this is my favorite avocado hack.
Favorite Avocado Hack
- Place a baking rack, sometimes called a cooling rack, over a large mixing bowl.
- Cut an avocado in half and remove the pit.
- Place one half of the avocado flesh-side down on the baking rack.
- Applying pressure with your hand, push the avocado into the baking rack while simultaneously sliding it across the baking rack. (Hold onto the baking rack and bowl with your other hand to keep it from sliding away.)
- Voila! You now have perfect little cubes of avocado.
- Repeat with as many avocados as you like.

I love to use this hack when I make a big batch of guacamole for Happy Hour with my family. Since the avocados are already diced, I barely have to mash the guacamole. It is also a great way to save time when serving a lot of avocados to a crowd.
