We’re celebrating 6 years of Eat it up Yum with 6 of my favorite recipes over the years!
Roasted Honeynut Squash Soup
Warm and comforting Honeynut Squash Soup has all the flavors of Fall. It is a great starter to a meal, or a great meal all on its own. If you can’t find honeynut squash, just use butternut squash
Happy Hour Guacamole
Does this ever happen to you? It is dinner time. You are tired. EVERYONE is hungry and the hangry is rising.
When the hangry strikes and I’m not quite excited to start cooking, I pour everyone some kombucha or Tepache De Piña and make a quick batch of “Happy Hour Guacamole.”
Elisha’s Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookie
My earliest memories of baking are of me sitting on the counter in my favorite aunt’s kitchen when I was a three-year-old little girl. She would let me sit right next to the big, loud, stand-mixer and pour in the sugar.
I remember being mesmerized by the magical transformation of butter, sugar, flour, and eggs into the tastiest cookies and brownies.
My aunt has since passed away, but the pure joy and excitement of a three-year-old little girl lives on every time I bake.
Hot Chocolate Cookies
These cookies are ooey, gooey, chewy, chocolate cookies with ribbons of marshmallow and puddles of chocolate chips. Like a mug of hot chocolate in cookie form.
Ginger Crinkle Cookies
Christmas time is here. . . and what is more Christmasy than Ginger Crinkle Cookies?
